It’s been a decade since a little company called Synty first introduced itself to the world. Founded by two friends, Andrew and Mike, who created their very first Synty asset pack for game devs called ‘Simple Town’, in just one weekend. Their recognisable style quickly gained in popularity, and Synty Studios was officially born!
Over the past 10 years, we’re proud to have grown to 37 employees across 4 countries, forging an expansive library of award winning, high-quality, handcrafted assets which are used in a vast array of projects including game development, film, television, metaverse, education, and more. The Synty collection now encompasses two art styles – Simple and POLYGON – across a variety of genres from Fantasy to Sci-Fi, supported by a growing library of HUD and animation products making Synty a one-stop shop for game developers.
To celebrate this milestone birthday, we are hosting an image jam, special community giveaways, a big birthday sale, and more – and you’re invited!

Image Jam
We’re hosting a birthday image jam, running for 10 days from July 19th to 28th NZT. We’re looking forward to showcasing the winners in our birthday party livestream at the end of the month. 10th Birthday Sale – 10 Days of Epic Deals
Our 10th Birthday Sale will be live on the Synty Store from July 22nd, 10am NZT until August 2nd, 11:59pm NZT. You can grab 50% off almost everything store-wide, as well as 10 days of Epic Deals where we’ll be highlighting the different eras of Synty’s epic 10 year history by unlocking a new 70% off deal every day!
Deals will unlock one per day from July 23rd, and stay live until the birthday sale ends on August 2nd, 11:59pm NZT.
